He aims for a weekly mileage of 40 to 50 miles, with average runs ranging between 8 and 10 miles.
Occasionally, he runs a shorter 5-mile runs or longer 12- to 15-mile runs to challenge himself and prevent plateaus.
My run is complete, 8 miles, 57 minutes, 17 seconds, at a 7:09 minute per mile pace…that puts this week's mileage at 44 miles total.
